A cold week here at Thrunton as winter arrived here in the north east, some cold frosty mornings with a couple of snow showers thrown in couldn’t stop our die hard anglers from netting some decent bags, some anglers still having some good sport on dries despite the weather. Many thanks to the anglers who have braved the icy conditions this week your custom is much appreciated.

· Matty Devine enjoyed his day returning 7 to Long Crag and 4 to Coe Crag using Lures and Bloodworms.

· John Williams returned 5 over both lakes using Buzzers and Egg Flies.

· Bob Bell returned 5 to Long Crag using Top Hats.

· Roger Wilson returned 5 to Coe Crag using egg Flies.

· Ray wood returned 6 to Long Crag using Cats Whiskers and other lures.

· Colin Smith returnd 4 to Long Crag using Daddies and Diawl Bachs.

· Steve Noble returned 2 to Long Crag and 7 to Coe Crag using a Thrunton Thrasher.

· Geoff huscroft. Returned 2 to Long crag and 6 to Coe Crag including one of 14lb using pink Zonkers.

· Michael Hall returned 12 to Long Crag using Buzzers and Eggs.

· Dean Hedley released 9 on Long Crag using Zonkers and shammies.

· David Kay returned 18 over both lakes

· Rodney Burn also released 18 over both lakes.

· John Pringle returned 7 to Long Crag and 2 to Coe Crag using lures and PTN’s.

· Stew younger returned 16 to Long Crag using Bloodworms.

· Davy Parker returned 14 to Long Crag using Cheese Minnows.

· Alec Harvey returned 6 over both lakes using a serial Killer.

· A mcGrew returned 12 over both lakes.
