12th Jun 2022 - Fishing Report w/e 12th June 2022

Eastly winds have dominated the first part of the week, which similar to last week did make fishing conditions a little tougher. Towards the end of the week, the weather improved drastically and anglers enjoyed some great buzzer and dry fly action. Black and Olive have been the most productive colours this week, and mainly in the smaller size's like 14, 16 and 18.

  • Barry Nicholson landed 8 fish between both lakes using Dries
  • Adam Mulgrew netted 9 fish between both lakes also using Dries
  • Tony Rowley landed 8 fish between both lakes
  • Gary Surtees landed 10 fish over two visits using Black Beetles, including some cracking Brown Trout
  • Rob Hall landed 9 fish between both lakes suing Bunny Leaches
  • C. Barrow used Muddlers to return 15 fish to Long Crag
  • Ian Callow landed 14 fish from Coe Crag using Buzzers
  • Mick Brown returned 18 fish to Long Crag using Damsels
  • John Jervis landed 5 fish from Long Crag using Black Emergers
  • Trevor Wadds returned 18 fish to Long Crag using Dry flies and Bloodworms
  • Steve Mole netted 5 fish from Long Crag using Diawl Bach's
  • Ken Glenton netted 10 fish from Long Crag using a mixture of flies
  • Tommy Mark netted 10 fish between both lakes over two visits this week
  • Roger Wilson netted 27 fish over two visits using Buzzers and Squirmys
  • Carl Dresser landed 17 fish while float tubing, caught using Buzzers, Diawl Bach's and Olive Lures
  • Ali Tait & Jim Burtle landed 22 fish while fishing from the boat
