13th Dec 2020 - Fishing Report w/e 13th December 2020

Anglers have enjoyed another week of good sport on both of the lakes, with fish being caught in the top few feet of water. Apps Bloodworms and Black Lures have taken the majority of the fish this week.
Scott Nellins held a qualifying heat at Thrunton this week for the UK Stillwater Pairs Championship, where we had 8 pairs fishing to qualify for the final next year. It was a great competition with fish being brought to the net steadily throughout the morning and afternoon session, and fish caught on almost all of the pegs.Congratulationsto the two pairs who have now qualified for the final; 1st Pair was Michael Blackwood & Dave Boland with 29 points, the second pair was Ali Tait & Rob Frame with 26 points on countback. Thanks to everyone for turning up and braving the horrendous weather on Sunday, and especially to Scott Nellins for organising and running the competition.
