JUNIOR FLY TYING SESSION - Wednesday 23^rdFebruary

Following another week of cloudy and windy conditions, Diawl Bach's and Various Lures have been the most prolific flies. Fish still being taken in the top few feet of water. Great to see some good numbers of Brownie's being caught this week, with quite a few of them being into the double figures.

This week we hosted a Puddle Pairs Heat at Thrunton ran by Lee Cartmail, we had an exceptional turn out of 34 anglers. The heavy rain that fell throughout the day, didn't deter many of the anglers. A total of 177 fish were landed, with fish into the double figures also being safely returned. The top three pairs that have now qualified for the final were:
1^stPair - Dean & Glenn Appleby (24 fish - 36 points)
2^ndPair - Keith Forster & Lee Abbott (20 fish - 30 points)
3^rdPair - Kris Munro & Carl Dresser (19 fish - 29 points)
