Fishing Report

The weather this week here at Thrunton has been very calm to then change at the end of the week to a little wind and rain. We have seen some very good fishing from anglers, with some big catches. The ponds this week have been very lively with some productive hatches bringing the fish up to the top for some cracking top of the water sport.

· A. Mulgrew landed 22 fish down on Long Crag

· B. Nickelson fished buzzers with various dries to land himself 19 fish on Coe Crag

· G. Carr netted 8 fish on Long Crag using various flies

· J. Jarvis returned 5 fish on Long Crag fishing off numerous pegs

· Ali Tait landed 20 fish one being 16lb+ on his float tube fishing a mix of flies

· Jim Burtle fished dries on his float tube to land himself 12 fish also on his float tube

· Davy Parker caught 20 fish on dries on his float tube

· Sim Smith landed 11 fish using shipmans and gnats on Long Crag lake

· B. McCarroll fished dries on Long Crag and netted 8 fish

· J. Williams returned 8 fish off multiple pegs using dries on Coe Crag

· D. Todd netted 10 fish on Coe Crag also using dry flies

· P. Mallaburn landed 11 fish on Coe Crag using top hats and shammys

· P. Thompson fished both lakes and ended up with 12 fish using various flies

· J. Drew released 7 fish on blobs on Coe Crag

· M. Hall caught 14 fish off various points on Long Crag using CDC’s and dries

· D. Hedley landed 12 fish on beetles and top hats on Long Crag

· D. Brown returned 11 fish with various flies on Long Crag

· C. Guthrie fished dries and landed 10 fish on dry flies fishing various points

· Ian Santos pulled lures and bloodworms on various points to net himself 9 fish on Long Crag

· R. Blanchet landed 13 fish on CDCS and damsels fishing both lakes

· R. Wilson caught 11 fish on Long Crag fishing worms and eggs

· S. Davison returned 7 fish over both lakes fishing an olive top hat

· C. Grey fished top hats on various points on both lakes to land himself 15 fish

· D. Brown fished various flies to net himself 9 fish on Coe Crag

· Bob Bell fished various buzzers and shipmans over a couple of visits to land himself 12 fish

· M. Lowery netted 11 fish using buzzers and dries on Long Crag Lake
