Another week of unsettled weather has not put the fish off feeding though it wold be fair to say that some days have been better than others, things improved at the end of the week and the forecast looks promising for the week to come. On Saturday we held our final heat of the UK fly fishing Championship it was a close run contest with 3 of the top 6 on 20 points. A 179 fish were caught on the day and 5 Qualifiers went through to the grand final in November. Results were 1st Peter Appleby 29 points Already Qualified. 2^nd Barry Nicholson 21 points. 3^rd Davy Kay 20 points 4^th Jim Burtle 20 points. 5th Carl Crompton 20 points. 6^th James Stephenson 19 points. On Sunday we had a visit from the Chopwell Chancers over 30 anglers turned up for their annual Darren McNestry Memorial competition A Great turnout and a good day had by all.

· Steve Mole returned 8 using Buzzers on Long Crag. And another 11 later in the week

· Tyler. Got wet but returned 8 on Long Crag during an evening session.
