16th May 2021 - Fishing Report w/e 16th May 2021

Another week with Natural patterns fished on the surface or in the top few feet of water, proving to be very successful. Small Griffiths Gnats and CDC’s being the top Dry Flies, however Diawl Bach’s fished subsurface at various speeds accounted for some decent bag numbers when the conditions didn’t favour Dry Flies.

A big well done goes to Paul Wilkie who landed his first ever fish this week, and it’ll certainly be one to remember, just tipping the scales at 11lb 7oz taken on a size 14 Griffiths Gnat.
