18th Apr 2022 - fishing report W/E 17-4-22

Following another week of improving weather conditions, anglers have continued to record excellent bag numbers while having some superb Dry Fly, Buzzer and Nymph fishing. Fish have been recorded into the double figures with Rob Hall landing a fully finned Brownie at over 12lb.

This week the Chopwell Chancers visited the fishery for their annual Darren McNestry memorial friendly competition. All 22 members landed fish with the majority of them bagging up. It was heaviest bag competition, so first four fish were killed and weighed.

3rd Place - Paul Snaith - 10lb 15oz
