21st Jun 2020 - Fishing Report w/e 21st June 2020

Anglers have experienced some 'Fantastic Buzzer Fishing this week, along with some good sport on Dries, especially during the later evening sessions. The bright and hot conditions during the middle of the day, have also allowed anglers to enjoy some sport on a variety of depths, with some angler finding Lures and Nymphs fishing deep and slow to be successful. The largest fish landed this week was estimated at 10lb, and landed by Trevor Bryant on Long Crag. Well Done Trevor! We have also seen some nice fish in the 4-6lb Region landed this week.Our 5 aerators have continued to oxygenate the water during the hot and calm weather this week.

  • Ken Glenton from Ashington netted 21 fish over two visits using Buzzers and Dries
  • Alec Harvey from Cramlington had some 'Fantastic Buzzer Fishing' netting 17 fish from Long Crag.
  • D. Soulsbury had a 'Great Day' landed 9 fish from Coe Crag using Eggstacy Worms
  • Tom Jones netted 11 fish from Long Crag using Black Buzzers
  • Ken Ward from Cramlington used a Beady to release 5 fish to Long Crag
  • Trevor Wadds from Longfamlington returned 7 fish using Diawl Bach's and lures fished deep and slow
  • Nathan Bryant used Lures to net 7 fish from Long Crag
  • Trevor Bryant returned 13 fish to Long Crag also using Lures, including one at 10lb
  • Carl Nixon netted 14 fish during his visit, caught using Buzzers and Dries
  • Steve Dixon used a Green Blob fished under the indicator to net 6 fish from Long Crag
  • Matty Devine from Hadston landed 18 fish from Long Crag using Lures, Diawl Bach's and Dries
  • Ian Santos used Lures and Dries to return 14 fish to Long Crag
  • Mick Brown from Bedlington netted 12 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers, including a nice 4lb Brown
  • A. Hudson returned 5 fish to Long Crag using a Zonker
  • Davie Hodgson landed 5 fish also from Long Crag using a Bloodworm
