25th Sep 2022 - Fishing Report w/e 25th September 2022

Anglers have had to change methods this week, to suit the changing conditions. Lures have become more prolific in the catch returns this week; however Daddies, Hoppers and Black Beetles have also produced some impressive bag numbers. The fish are still being caught high in the water, even when fishing lures and Nymphs. As a result of the cooling water temperature, anglers have reported that the fish are providing some excellent battles before coming to the net. We currently have charity auctions currently taking place on Facebook in aid of Breast Cancer, currently listed is some hand engraved drinking glasses and shortly we will be listing a hand made walking stick. If you'd like to place a bid, but don't have a Facebook account please ring the lodge on 01665 574400.
