26th Jun 2022 - Fishing Report w/e 26th June 2022

Considering the bright and hot weather anglers have experienced this week, they have still managed to achieve some good sport and decent bag numbers. Emergers and CDC's have been the most productive flies this week, with Olive being a particular favourite. The fish are still putting up some excellent fights before making their way to the net, and anglers have reported some really savage takes on Dries.

  • Ken Glenton landed 20 fish from Long Crag using the Nothing Fly
  • Gary Surtees netted 7 fish between both lakes using Black Beetles
  • Jim Burtle landed 6 fish from Long Crag using Dries
  • Michael Hall landed 9 fish from Long Crag using Dries and Buzzers
  • Tommy Mark landed 13 fish over multiple visits this week, all taken on Dries
  • Mike Rawlings landed 11 fish over two visits this week, mainly taken on Dries and Buzzers
  • Tom Foster safely returned 10 fish to Long Crag using Black Shipmans
  • David Parker landed 14 fish from Long Crag using Dries and Bunny Leaches
  • Steven Mole landed 25 fish from Long Crag over three visits this week mainly taken on Dries
  • Mick Brown landed 16 fish from Long Crag using Lures and Dries
  • Chris Guthrie used Dries to return 7 fish to Long Crag
  • Willie Smylie netted 6 fish from Coe Crag lake using Zonkers
  • Alec Harvey & Colin Spillard safely returned 11 fish between them while fishing from the boat
  • Roger Wilson landed 7 fish from Long Crag using Squirmys and Dries
  • Terry Toner landed 13 fish over multiple visits this week
  • Dean Hedley landed 5 fish from Long Crag using Dries
  • Tony Rowley landed 5 fish from Long Crag over a two hour session, all taken on Yellow Owls
