LAKE CLOSURE - Please note Long Crag lake will be closed on Sunday 13th February all day for a competition. Coe Crag lake will remain open as usual. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.


JUNIOR FLY TYING SESSION - Wednesday 23

Another mixed week weather wise, however both lakes have continued to provide some good sport and some cracking fully finned fish for the anglers. Bloodworms have been one of the most productive flies again this week, fished relatively high in the water column. Anglers have also had good success on the natural patterns like Diawl Bach's, with one angler landing 15 fish in his last 90mins of fishing. Fish weighing into the double figures have been landed again this week, with Matty Devine safely returning a 10lb Rainbow to Long Crag.


  • Spike Millican returned 35 fish over two visits this week using Eggs and Lures
  • Ken Glenton safely released 8 fish to Long Crag using a Mixture of flies
  • Hugh Kempson landed 7 fish from Coe Crag using Yellow Eggs and Buzzers
  • Matty Devine landed 20 fish from Long Crag using Bloodworms, best fish at 10lb
  • Ian Santos landed 12 fish over two visits this week using Bloodworms and Lures
  • Jed Armstrong returned 30 fish over two visits this week, while fishing from the boat.
  • Geoff Huscroft landed 8 fish from Coe Crag using Black Lures
  • Carl Dresser used Bradling Bloodworms to return 10 fish to Coe Crag
  • Jim Smith returned 9 fish to Long Crag using Squirmys and Eggs
  • Alec Harvey used Lures to return 14 fish to Long Crag
  • Guy Nicholson safely released 8 fish to Long Crag using Buzzers and Apps
  • Jim Burtle landed 6 fish from Long Crag using Cheese Eggs
  • J. Brown landed 7 fish between both lakes using Apps Bloodworms
  • Trevor Wadds returned 16 fish to Long Crag using Diawl Bach's
  • Michael Hall returned 8 fish to Long Crag using Bloodworms
  • Dean Hedley landed 6 fish from Long Crag using Black Bloodworms
