30th Jun 2019 - Fishing Report w/e 30th June 2019

From a cold wet start and 13 degrees to hot and sunny and high temperatures, conditions have not made things easy for anglers this week, early in the week dries and emergers were working well, anglers found success by going a bit deeper on the hotter days at the end of the week.

This month we host the Junior trout masters finals ( 20th and 21st July) why not come and watch some of these talented young anglers, everyone is welcome Refreshmentswill be availablethroughout the day.

PLEASE NOTE: Coe Crag Lakewill be closed from Wednesday 17th Julyuntilafter the junior Trout MastersCompetition. We will alsobe closing at 6.00pm on Sunday 21stJuly.

  • Bill McCarroll from Morpeth safely released 7 fish to Long Crag using Buzzers and CDC's
  • Barry Nicholson landed 12 fish between both lakes using Dries, Buzzers and Tinnies
  • Bedlington angler, Joe Brown had a 'good day' landing his bag limit of 14 fish from Long Crag using CDC's.
  • John Allison released 5 to Coe Crag using Olive Emergers.
  • Brian Lavery from Linton released 7 fish over both lakes using Para Buzzers.
  • Wooler angler, JulianBales released 6 to Long Crag using Griffiths Gnat's.
  • Keith Mortimer from Cramlington released 8 to Coe Crag using a Black WoollyBugger and a White Nomad.
  • Rob Hall from Morpeth had a 'great day' safely releasing5 fish between both lakes using Dries
  • Alec Ainslie from Craster landed 4 fish from Long Crag using a Blue Dancer.
