5th Dec 2022 - Fishing Report W/E 4.12.22

Calmer conditions this week but anglers have still been challenged with mist fog hard frosts and some days bright sunshine and flat calms, even so some anglers have had some good sport on various methods ranging from Lures on Sinking lines to dry flies and everything in between.

· David Jordan returned 5 to Long Crag using various Flies’.

· Jeff Jordan returned 7 fish to long Crag using various flies.

· Mick Kelley released 8 to Long Crag using Suspender Buzzers.

· Matty Devine returned 5 to Long Crag and 11 to Coe Crag using Devine Dancers Nymphs and Bloodworms. Matty had a grand Slam netting all four of the stocked species Browns Blues Rainbows and Tigers.

· Ian Santos had a good day netting a nice 6lb Rainbow on Long Crag and another 8 on Coe Crag including a double hook up.

· Alec Harvey landed 5 over both lakes

· Austin Churm used various flies and methods to net 8 over both lakes.

· Brian Burdis kept 2 one at 6lb 7oz and released another 6 during a 3hour session using a home tied white lure.

· Bob Stewart. Released 4 and kept 2 on Coe Crag using various Lures.

· R Palfreman released 5 using lures.

· John Jervis Returned 5 to Long Crag using PTN’s and Hares Ears.

· Mick Brown returned 13 to Long Crag using Buzzers and Lures.

· John Pringle returned 10 to Long Crag and a nice double to Coe Crag Using Daddies and Worms.

· M Crosbie returned 6 to Long Crag using Dawsons Olives Including a 10lb Rainbow and a 7lb Brown.

· Malcom robinson returned 6 to Long Crag using Shammies

· Mathew Lowery Returned 8 over both lakes using Fabs.

· J Allcroft also returned 8 over both lakes using Fabs.

· John Pringle had a second visit returning 20 using Daddies and Blood worms.

· Michael Hall returned 9 using eggs and Bloodworms.
