7th Dec 2020 - Fishing Report w/e 6th December 2020

It has been a week of extreme conditions this week frost and flat calm some days combined with bright sunshine then heavy rain at the end of the week. The fresh water gave the fish a lift and thankfully the water remains clear.

PLEASE NOTE: LONG CRAG LAKE IS FULLY BOOKED FOR UK STILLWATER PAIRS COMPETITION ON SUNDAY 13th December COE CRAG OPEN AS USUAL, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

  • Matty Devine from Hadston safely released 18 fish to Long Crag using Devine Dancer and PTN's. Matty landed a 11lb and 13lb Rainbow.
  • Ian Santos used Bloodworms to return 9 fish to Long Crag
  • Dennis Hopper netted 6 fish from Long Crag, including a 7lb Brown using Bloodworms
  • Rob Hopper landed 8 fish from Long Crag using Buzzers and a Devine Dancer, including a 10lb Rainbow
  • Lee Blaylock returned 10 fish to Coe Crag using Red and Olive Apps
  • Mick Brown returned 11 fish to Long Crag using Buzzers
  • Derek Todd landed 7 fish from Long Crag using Diawl Bach's and Bloodworms
  • Mark Cromar netted 10 fish from Long Crag using Blobs
  • Mick French landed 7 fish over both lakes using Various Lures
  • Gary Knox returned 6 to Coe Crag using Red Bloodworms.
  • Bill Keepin returned 5 to Long Crag using various flies.
  • Nicky Hart returned 1 to Coe Crag and 11 to Long Crag using Bloodworms and lures.
  • Dave mckenna released 10 over both lakes using various flies.
  • Alan Theilman returned 6 over both lakes.
