6th Sep 2020 - Fishing Report w/e 6th September 2020

The continued cooler weather this week, has really helped the lakes and the fish, as anglers report some excellent bag numbers and more consistent catches. A good number of the larger fish, are still getting caught with Mick Brown landing a 12lb Rainbow closely followed by Jon Brown who landed a 10lb Rainbow. Small PTN's, Diawl Bach's and Dries have accounted for most of the fish caught this week.
The Cramlington Renegades visited this week, all members caught fish. James Calvin took first place, closely followed by Adam Bound and Lee Blaylock made third place.

  • Guy Nicholson landed 5 fish from Long Crag using Diawl Bach's
  • David Coxon safely released 5 fish to Coe Crag using a GRHE
  • Brain Lavery from Linton returned 8 fish during his evening session, caught using CDC's and Para Buzzers
  • Tony Rowley netted 12 fish over his two shot sessions this week, caught using PTN's
  • Eric Caisley from Morpeth landed 8 fish from Long Crag, caught using Nymphs
  • Mick Brown from Bedlington used Buzzers to safely return 17 fish to Long Crag. His best fish at 12lb
  • Francis Coton used a Diawl Bach to return 5 fish to Long Crag
  • Alan Jarvis from Prudhoe landed 8 fish from Long Crag using Diawl Bach's
  • Ken Glenton from Ashington returned 5 fish over both lakes using a Buzzer and a Chamois
  • Rob Hall from Morpeth released 6 fish to Long Crag using a Bunny Leach
  • Nathan Bryant returned 7 fish to Long Crag using Dries
  • Micheal Hall released 10 fish to Long Crag using Dries, during his evening session
  • Lee Rankin also returned 10 fish to Long Crag using PTN's and F-Flys
  • Mike Dyde from Rothbury landed 6 fish from Long Crag using a Bunny Leach
