8th Nov 2020 - Fishing Report w/e 8th November 2020

An excellent week of weather has given the anglers the prefect opportunity to enjoy some top quality sport on both lakes. As the cooler mornings and later afternoons become more prolific, Lures continue to take the majority of the fish, however Diawl Bach's have also taken a good number of fish.Congratulationsto Arnie Birchinall who landed a Rainbow on Long Crag lake, that he estimated between 12-15lb.
It was a great relief to get some clear and positive guidance from the Angling Trust on Wednesday, as they confirmed that fisheries were able to stay open during the current lockdown, providing that anglers 'Fish safely'. Unfortunately, all competition have been put on hold during the lockdown, and will hopefully be rescheduled for later in December or into 2021.   • Ian Fitzpatrick returned 10 fish to Coe Crag using Cormorants and Buzzers
  • David Middlemast used Spiders and Nymphs to return 11 fish to Long Crag
  • George Fisher returned 10 fish to Long Crag using Various Flies
  • Derek Todd landed 11 fish from Long Crag using Diawl Bach's, Daddies and Hoppers
  • Kevin Robson landed 10 fish from Coe Crag using Buzzers and Minkies
  • Mick Brown safely returned 16 fish to Long Crag using Lures
  • Guy Nicholson used Apps Bloodworms and Chamois to release 17 fish over both lakes
  • Paul Pratt safely released 8 fish between both lakes using Nymphs and Dries
  • Alan Jarvis landed his limit of 14 fish using a Beamish Killer and Black Lures
  • Ken Glenton netted 19 fish from Long Crag over two visits this week, mainly caught using a Chamois
  • Alec Harvey used Lures, Diawl Bach's and Apps Bloodworms to release 17 fish to Long Crag
  • Rob Hall returned 13 fish to Long Crag using Buzzers and Diawl Bach's
  • Nick Hart used Various Lures to release 12 fish to Long Crag
  • Jamie Scott released 20 fish over both lakes over two visits, mainly caught using Apps Bloodworms
  • Brain Lillie returned 8 fish to Coe Crag using Various Nymphs
  • Peter Crowe released 10 fish to Coe Crag using Various Nymphs and Lures
